End User Licence Agreement
This agreement covers the software you download or install from OnlinePCApps. It sets out the licence you get, what you can and cannot do with it and the limits that apply.
01 About this agreement
This End User Licence Agreement ("EULA", "agreement") is a legal contract between you and OnlinePCApps ("OnlinePCApps", "we", "us", "our"). It governs your use of any software you download or install from OnlinePCApps, including desktop apps and their paid licences.
This EULA covers the software you install. Your use of the website and the browser-based apps is covered by our Terms of Service. Where the two overlap, the terms specific to the software apply.
02 Accepting this agreement
You accept this EULA by installing or using the software. If you do not agree with any part of it, do not install or use the software, and remove any copy you already hold.
If you install the software for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept this EULA on its behalf.
03 The licence we grant
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and use the software for its intended purpose. You may use it on the number of devices or by the number of users stated in your licence.
This licence lets you use the software. It does not sell it to you or transfer any ownership. We keep every right that this agreement does not give you directly.
04 Free and paid versions
Some software is free to use. A free version may limit features or capacity, and those limits are described where you download it.
A paid licence unlocks the features listed on the product page for that version. The scope of a paid licence, such as how many devices or users it covers, is shown at checkout and in your licence confirmation.
05 What you may not do
Your licence comes with limits that protect the software and other users. You must not:
- copy, distribute, resell, rent or sublicense the software beyond what your licence allows
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except where the law expressly allows it
- modify, adapt or create derivative works from the software
- remove, hide or alter any copyright, trademark or licence notice
- work around, disable or tamper with any licensing, activation or security feature
- use the software to build or train a competing product
Breaking any of these limits ends your licence, as described in the section on termination below.
06 Ownership
OnlinePCApps and its licensors own the software, including its code, design and content. The software is protected by copyright and other intellectual property law, and by the terms of this agreement.
Naming a third-party product or standard inside the software does not transfer any right in it. All trademarks remain with their owners.
07 Your files stay yours
The software processes your files on your own device. We do not receive, store or claim any ownership over the files you open, convert or save with it. What you create with the software is yours.
You are responsible for having the right to use any file you process, and for keeping your own backups. For how the software and site handle the small amount of data we collect, see our Privacy Policy.
08 Updates and support
We may release updates that fix problems, improve the software or add features. When you install an update, this EULA covers it too, unless the update comes with its own terms.
We may change or stop offering the software or its updates at any time. Support, where it is offered, is described on the product page for your version.
09 Third-party components
The software may include third-party or open-source components. Those components are licensed under their own terms, which we make available with the software or on request.
Where a third-party licence gives you rights that differ from this EULA, that licence governs its own component. The rest of the software stays under this agreement.
10 Term and termination
This licence lasts until it is terminated. It ends automatically if you break any term of this agreement.
You can end the licence at any time by uninstalling the software and removing every copy. On termination, your right to use the software stops at once, and you must delete it. The sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue to apply after the licence ends.
11 Disclaimer of warranties
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the software will meet your needs, produce a particular result or run without interruption or error. You install and use it at your own risk, and you are responsible for backing up important files first.
12 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, OnlinePCApps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the software. This includes loss of data, loss of profit and business interruption.
Because the software runs on your device and we never receive your files, we cannot be responsible for damage to or loss of those files. Back up anything important before you install or run any file tool.
Where liability cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in question.
13 Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction handle any dispute, unless consumer law in your own country gives you the right to bring a claim closer to home.
If any part of this EULA is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
