01 About these terms

These terms explain the rules for using OnlinePCApps and the apps hosted on it. They form an agreement between you and OnlinePCApps ("OnlinePCApps", "we", "us", "our"). Read them before you use the site, because using it means you accept them.

We have written these terms to be read, not filed away. Where a term carries a specific legal meaning, we say plainly what it means for you.

02 Accepting these terms

You accept these terms by visiting onlinepcapps.com or by using any app on it. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site.

If you use the apps for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on its behalf. In that case "you" means both you and that organisation.

03 What we provide

OnlinePCApps is a platform of browser-based file tools for tasks like email conversion, PDF editing and image processing. The apps run inside your browser and process your files on your own device.

You can use the apps without creating an account, and most tools are free. Where a tool has paid features or a separate desktop version, the pricing and any extra terms are shown at the point where they apply.

We may add, change or retire individual apps over time. Nothing in these terms guarantees that a particular app or feature will always be available.

04 Using the apps responsibly

You agree to use OnlinePCApps lawfully and only for its intended purpose. This keeps the service safe and reliable for everyone. You must not:

• use the apps to break any law or to handle content you have no right to handle
• disrupt, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems
• copy, resell or redistribute the apps or the site as your own product
• use automated tools to scrape, mirror or bulk download the site beyond normal use
• remove or alter any notice of ownership on the site or its software

If your use harms the service or other people, we may limit or block your access, as described in the section on suspension and termination below.

05 Your files and content

Your files stay yours. Because the apps process files on your device, we do not receive, store or claim any ownership over the content you open in a tool. What you do with your own files is your responsibility.

You are responsible for having the right to use any file you open in an app. We cannot see what your files contain, so you must make sure your use of them is lawful.

06 Our intellectual property

OnlinePCApps owns the site, its design, its text and the software that powers the apps, unless stated otherwise. These are protected by intellectual property law.

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive right to use the apps for their intended purpose. That right does not let you copy, modify, sell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from any part of the site or its software.

Trademarks, logos and brand names shown on the site remain the property of their owners. Naming a third-party product does not imply any endorsement or partnership.

07 Third-party services and links

Some features rely on third-party services, and some pages link to other websites. We use these providers to run the site, but we do not control what they do.

When you follow a link to another site or use a third-party service, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply. We are not responsible for their content, their practices or any loss that results from using them.

08 Availability and changes

We work to keep OnlinePCApps available and working well, but we do not promise that it will always be online or free of errors. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Where a change is significant, we will try to make it clear on the site. If you keep using the apps after a change, you accept the updated service.

We may also update these terms as the service or the law changes. The current version on this page is the one that applies, so review it from time to time.

09 Disclaimer of warranties

OnlinePCApps and its apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the apps will meet your needs, produce a particular result or run without interruption or error. You use the apps at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for keeping your own backups of important files.

10 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, OnlinePCApps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or its apps. This includes loss of data, loss of profit and business interruption.

Where liability cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, for the service in question.

11 Indemnification

You agree to cover any reasonable loss, claim or cost we face because you broke these terms or misused the service. This includes claims brought by other people as a result of your use.

This section does not apply to loss caused by our own breach of these terms, or to anything the law does not let us exclude.

12 Suspension and termination

You can stop using OnlinePCApps at any time. Since no account is required, stopping is as simple as closing the tab.

We may limit, suspend or end your access if you break these terms, misuse the service or create a risk for the site or other users. Where it is reasonable, we will give notice first, but we may act at once if the risk is serious.

The sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue to apply after your use ends.

13 Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction handle any dispute, unless consumer law in your own country gives you the right to bring a claim closer to home.
